Description:

Kefuroxime Vet Tablet contains cefuroxime axetil as active ingredient, It is a second generation Cephalosporin (Beta- lactam) antibiotic effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.

Indications for use:

It is indicated for variety of bacterial infections including: –
• Wound Infections
• Urinary Tract Infections
• Ear Infections
• Respiratory Infections
• SSTI (Skin and Soft Tissue Infections)

Administration / Dosage:

5-10 mg/kg body weight.

Over-dosage / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

Most common reported side effects with oral axetil preparations are vomiting and diarrhoea like GI signs. Do not use in the dogs/puppies susceptible/ having known history of hypersensitivity to beta lactams.

Always consult your veterinarian before using in pregnant and lactating female dogs / cats.
