Class: Antibiotics / 3^rd Generation Cephalosporin

Description:

Kefodoxime Vet DT dispersible tablets contains Cefpodoxime Proxetil. It is a third-generation Cephalosporin antibiotic. It is used for variety of skin infections.

Indications for use:

It is indicated for variety of bacterial infections including: –
• Urinary Tract Infections
• Ear Infections
• Respiratory Infections
• SSTI (Skin and Soft Tissue Infections)

Administration / Dosage:

5-10 mg/kg body weight once a day. For more details, please refer pack insert.

Over-dosage / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

It should not be used in the dogs/puppies hypersensitive to it or other cephalosporins.

Safety / Pregnancy / Withdrawal:

Safety for use in pregnant and lactating female dogs have not been demonstrated. Always consult your veterinarian before using in pregnant and lactating female dogs / cats.
