Each Nepocef-CV 162.5 mg uncoated tablet contains
Cefpodoxime Proxetil IP equivalent to
Cefpodoxime 100 mg
Potassium Clavulanate diluted IP equivalent to
Clavulanic acid 62.5 mg
Each Nepocef-CV 325 mg uncoated tablet contains
Cefpodoxime Proxetil IP equivalent to
Cefpodoxime 200 mg
Potassium Clavulanate diluted IP equivalent to
Clavulanic acid 125 mg

Dosage and administration:
The dose rate of Nepocef-CV (Cefpodoxime proxetil & Clavulanic acid) is 5-10 mg per kg body weight, orally administered once daily because of its longer half-life.
Deep Pyoderma: Minimum 17 to 21 days plus 10-14 days post clinical remission
Superficial Pyoderma: Minimum 9 to 15 days plus 7 days post clinical remission
Respiratory & urinary tract infections: 10-14 days
Cutaneous and subcutaneous infections: Wounds/abscesses – 5 days
Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions:
Store in a cool place. Not for human use.
Safety / Contraindications / Side-Effects:
Like other cephalosporins may cause hypersensitivity in susceptible patients and GI signs like diarrhoea, vomiting etc. Stop administration and contact your veterinarian.
