Each Vetconazole hard gelatin capsule contains:
Itraconazole Pellets
Equivalent to Itraconazole BP                200 / 100 mg
Approved colors used in hard gelatin capsule shell

Each ml of Vetconazole Oral Suspension contains:
Itraconazole BP           20 mg
Palatable Syrup base q.s.

Class: Anti-fungal

Description:

Vetconazole capsules and oral suspension contains itraconazole. It is most commonly used in the treatment of fungal infections (Cryptococcosis in cats and Dermatophyte infection in dogs and cats).

Indications for use:

Vetonazole/ Itraconazole is indicated for variety of fungal infections including: –

• Fungal infections of skin
• Claws and bone infection
• Respiratory infections

Administration / Dosage:

5-10 mg/kg body weight once a day. For more details, please refer pack insert.

Over-dosage / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

Avoid use in case of liver diseases. Common adverse reactions are vomiting, diarrhoea, salivation, hepatic toxicosis etc. antacids (H2 antagonists) may reduce the absorption of itraconazole.

Safety / Pregnancy / Withdrawal:

Use of itraconazole is contraindicated in pregnant dogs and cats.
