Each ml contains:

Itraconazole BP           5mg
Excipients                   q.s.

Description / Action: 

Izof Oral Solution contains itraconazole is a synthetic oral triazole antifungal drug. Itraconazole inhibits the growth of fungal organisms by interfering with the formation of the fungal cell wall.

Class: Antifungal

Indication / Uses:

• Dermatophytosis,
• Aspergillosis,
• Malasseziosis,
• Sporotrichosis,
• Cryptococcosis,
• Coccidiomycosis,
• Candidiasis,
• Blastomycosis,
• Histoplasmosis

Dosage and administration:

Cats and Dogs: 5 mg/kg

One week on/week off for 6 weeks for pulse therapy (i.e. 21 days or 3 weeks total of itraconazole)

Note: Administration is recommended with food or fats for better absorption.

Over-dosage / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

Do not use in dogs and cats with significantly compromised hepatic, cardiac, and renal function. Consider the potential for pharmacological interactions with substances including digoxin, phenobarbital, cyclopropane, and benzodiazepines.

Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions: 

Store in a dry, cool, and dark place.  For Veterinary use. Not for use in humans.

Safety: Age / Pregnancy/ Withdrawal:

Avoid use in lactating and pregnant female pets.
