Description / Action: 

PalaCef – Vet 300 mg / 600 mg Palatable Tablets contain cefalexin or cephalexin which is a 1st generation antibiotic of the cephalosporin class. This works by inhibiting the cell wall synthesis of bacteria.

Indication / Uses:

• Gram-Positive Bacterial Infections,
• Gram-Negative Bacterial Infections,
• Pyoderma
• Other Skin Infections,
• Wound Infections,
• Bone Infections &
• Bladder Infections

Dosage and administration / Directions for use:

22-30 mg/kg body weight, 8 to 12 hourly orally for both dogs & cats

or as directed by a veterinarian.

Over-dosage / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

It may cause hypersensitivity in pets susceptible to penicillin sensitivity or cephalosporins. Common side effects or adverse reactions are hypersensitivity and GI signs. Do not use for oral administration in rodents and lagomorphs.
