Each ml of Suspension contains:
Fanbendazole IP 100mg (10 % w/v)

Class: Benzimidazole Dewormer/ Antiparasitic

Description:

Canworm suspension is a broad-spectrum antihelmintic containing fenbendazole 10% w/v as an active ingredient. It is a dewormer for Dogs, Cats, Puppies, Kittens, Sheep, Goat, Swine, Rabbit and Birds with a high margin of safety.

It is a broad-spectrum de-wormer effective against Tapeworms, Hookworm, Roundworm, Whipworm, and Giardia.
Effective against mature and immature stages of worm infestation.

Symptoms of worm infestation:

– Weight loss
– Dull coat, Dry hairs
– Swollen belly
– Lack of appetite
– Anemia
– Lethargy
– Worms in stool
– Vomiting and sporadic diarrhoea
– General poor appearance

Indications for use:

This fenbendazole suspension helps in the treatment and control of
• Tapeworm,
• Hookworm,
• Roundworm,
• Whipworm and
• Giardia

Administration / Dosage:

Large dogs – 1ml/kg body weight
Puppies – 0.5 ml per kg body weight x 3 days
Or As advised by the Veterinarian.
Give orally.
Rest refer pack insert

Over-dosage / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

Bone marrow hypoplasia has been reported according to the available literature as an adverse reaction.

Safety / Pregnancy / Withdrawal:

Canworm has a wide safety margin and can be used effectively against worm infestation in unweaned puppies, kittens, pregnant and nursing animals.

Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions:

Store in a cool and dry place. Shake well before use.
