Ingredients & Composition:

Each ml of Vental Puppy Suspension contains

Pyrantel Pamoate     14.4 mg
Febantel                     15 mg
Aqueous base                         q.s.

Description / Action: 

Vental puppy suspension is a dewormer for puppies and  kittens. It contains pyrental pamoate and febantel which are effective against ascarids, hookworms and whipworms.

Class: Endoparasiticide / Dewormer

Indication / Uses:

Vental puppy suspension is indicated in puppies/kittens against

• Round worms (Ascarids spp.)
• Hookworms (Ancylostima spp.)
• Whipworms (Trichuris spp.)

Dosage and administration:

Dog: 1 ml / kg body weight

Cat: 1 to 3 ml per kg body weight

(1 ml is equivalent to approximately 16 drops)

Should be mixed with the feed, or administered orally directly after feeding.

Should be started at 2 weeks of age and should be repeated every two weeks (at 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 weeks of age) or at suitable intervals.

Then Every month up to 6 months of age. Thereafter every three months. In case of whipworm infestations, should be dewormed every two months after three months of age. In case of tapeworm infestation.

For oral use in Puppies and Kittens.

Overdoses / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

Contraindications and warnings have not been mentioned on the product label by the manufacture. Ask your veterinarian in case of accidental overdosing.

Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions: 

Store in a cool dry and dark place. Shake well before use.

Safety: Age / Pregnancy/ Withdrawal:

Safe for use in puppies and young dogs. To reduce prenatal infections with Toxocara spp. and Ancylostoma spp. to the pups/kittens through milk. It is advisable to treat the lactating bitch & puppies at the same time/schedule.
