Lozalo Climbacure Shampoo uses Climbazole as its main ingredient a medication used to help reduce itching by acting on fungal infection. At the same time, chlorhexidine gluconate a dog antiseptic skin cleanser-combats bad bacteria. It is also enriched with mild naturally derived sulphate free ingredients to help your dog’s coat get back its optimal, lustrous shine and shape. Enriched with a light refreshing fragrance and the ideal pH balance.

This shampoo is specially formulated to fight both bacterial skin infection and fungal infections, getting your dog’s skin back to normal and helping to stop all that scratching.

Chlorhexidine gluconate is used as adjunctive therapy for bacterial skin infections caused by Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It is considered to have residual effects and can remain active on skin after rinsing.

Depending upon its concentration it has both bactericidal and bacteriostatic mechanisms of actions. A positively charged molecule in chlorhexidine attaches to the negatively charged areas of the bacterial cell wall.

Chlorhexidine affects the integrity of the cell wall. Chlorhexidine congeals or solidifies the cytoplasm at high doses.

Climbazole is a synthetic antifungal drug used to treat skin and fungal infection. It works by preventing the production of ergosterol, a crucial element of fungal plasma membranes. It inhibits Cyt P-450 enzyme responsible for conversion of Lanosterol to Ergosterol. This further impairs the fungal cell membrane’s ability to function normally, which results in antifungal action.

Directions for use:

Wet the coat with water thoroughly. Take optimum quantity of shampoo. Apply to form a rich lather. Leave on the coat for 15-20 minutes. Rinse well with water and give a blow/ towel dry. Don’t allow to lick your pet until it gets dry.

Repeat the application at weekly intervals or according to severity as advised by your veterinarian.
