Stabilized oxychloro complex 0.005% w/v
(as a preservative)
Sterile aqueous base               q.s.

Description / Action: 

LIGHTSENSE COOL is a Carboxymethyl Cellulose Sodium Eye Drop for dogs and cats. It helps in the management of irritation & dryness of the eye, Chronic Conjunctival irritation, Kerato Conjunctivitis Sicca – KCS, and Discomfort due to wind, sun, or pollution effects.

Etiology of keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS):

Keratoconjunctivitis sicca is one of the most common eye problems/ conditions seen in dogs.

Tear deficiency is caused by reduced production of the aqueous layer of the tear film, which causes quantitative tear deficiency and leads to inflammation of the Conjunctiva and Cornea known as Keratoconjunctivitis Sicca (KCS), or Dry Eye.

Clinical Signs of KCS:

• Conjunctival Hyperemia.
• Corneal vascularization and pigmentation.
• Mucoid or Mucopurulent discharge
• Ocular Discharge.
• Redness and irritation.
• A dry and lusterless cornea.

Over-dosage / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

If irritation increases or persists, then please discontinue the use and consult your veterinarian. The dropper tip should not be touched to any surface as this can contaminate the solution.

Discard the solution if remains unused one month after opening the vial.
