Description / Action: 

Eyegel is an ocular lubricant gel containing 2% hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. It is an Eye Rejuvenator. Hydroxypropyl Methylcelulose gel has a cooling and soothing effect in the eyes. It contributes to a better wetting of the ocular surface in case of sensation of dry eyes burning or eye fatigue.

Indication / Uses:

Eyegel is indicated in

• KCS (Keratoconjunctivitis secca) – as artificial tears
• Dry Eye Sensation
• Burning Eye Sensation
• Red Eye

Safe for use in dogs and cats.

Dosage and administration:

Hold the tube in a vertical position above your pet’s eyes and gently pull the lower eyelid down instil 1 drop in each eye by pressing lightly on the tube (Usually 0.5 cm of the ointment is sufficient for single application). The tube must be well maintained vertical during instillation. Be careful that the tube does not come in contact with the eyes or fingers to avoid contamination of the gel.

Always keep an interval of at least 15 minutes between each instillation if your pet is recommended more than 1 product.

Should be used before half n hour in KCS and any eye infection except in glaucoma.

Overdoses / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

No severe side effect. If irritation persists or increases discontinue the use and consult your veterinarian.

Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions: 

Keep in a cool and dry place. Sterile until opened. Use within one month after opening the tube. Do not touch the dispensing tip to any other surface and keep it covered.
