Description / Action: 

Petmedin Tablet contains pimobendan (non-sympathomimetic, non-glycoside inotropic drug) which is indicated for the management of canine congestive heart failure originating from dilated cardiomyopathy or valvular insufficiency.

Pimobendan is indicated in dogs for

For the management of the signs of mild, moderate, or severe congestive heart failure due to atrioventricular valvular insufficiency (AVVI) or dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM).

Dosage and administration / Directions for use:

The dose rate of Pimobendan is 0.5mg/kg body weight. The dose should be 0.25 mg/kg body weight twice daily, one half of the dose in the morning and the other half approximately 12 hours later. Each dose should be given on an empty stomach and at least one hour before feeding. Or as directed by veterinarian.

Over-dosage / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:
