Description:

Corforce Tablets contain pimobendan for the management of signs of Congestive Heart Failure in dogs.  Pimobendan is a benzimidazole pyridazinone derivative which is an inodilator (i.e. both a positive inotrope and balanced systemic arterial and venous dilator). The Vasodilator effects occur via inhibition of Phosphodiesterase III (PDE III). The inotropic effects of pimobendan is attributed to its action as calcium sensitizer. Hence, pimobendan reinforces myocardial contractility and efficaciously increases the cardiac output.
