Clindamycin Hydrochloride IP Eq. to
Clindamycin       600 mg / 450 mg
Excipients           q.s.

Description: 

Pet Clind Tablets Contain clindamycin which is an antibiotic of lincosamide class. It is effective in dermal infections, teeth and oral cavity infection, bone infections, toxoplasmosis, and babesiosis etc.

Mechanism of Action:

Clindamycin causes steric hindrance through binding, preventing transfer of amino acids to larger chain.

• High oral absorption with maximum concentration reaching deeper tissues (bones and teeth) .
• Suitable antibiotic for long duration therapy
• Effective even in treatment of pus filled wounds and abscess

Indication / Uses:

• Dermal infections: Pyoderma, Abscesses, Pyogenic wounds
• Infections of teeth and oral cavity: Odontitis, Stomatitis, Gingivitis
• Deep tissue infections: Osteomyelitis
• Others: Toxoplasma, Neospora, Babesial infections and other infections caused by susceptible microbes

Dosage and administration:

11mg/kg (1 tablet for 54 kg)

Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions: 

Store in cool, dry and dark place.

Safety /Age / Pregnancy:

Common reported side effect is GI signs like vomiting and diarrhoea. Regarding safety for use in pregnant bitches and breeding animals consult your veterinarian.
