Composition & Ingredients:

Each ml contains

Carboxymethyl cellulose sodium IP      0.5% w/v
Stabilised oxychloride complex IP        0.005% w/v
As preservative
Sterile aqueous base             q.s.

Description / Action: 

Opthocare Cool Eye Drops contain carboxymethylcellulose which has a cleansing, cooling and soothing effect on the eyes. It contributes to better wetting of the ocular surface.

Class: Eye Drops (Artificial Tear/ Tear Substitute)

Indication / Uses:

Opthocare Cool eye drops are indicated in the following ophthalmic conditions in dogs and cats

• Burning Eye Sensation
• Dry Eye Sensation
• Red Eye
• KCS or Keratoconjunctivitis Sicca
• Glaucoma

Dosage and administration:

CATS: 1-2 drops in the affected eye (s) twice daily for 7days
DOGS: 2-4 drops in the affected eye (s) twice daily for 7days.
Or as directed by the veterinarian.
Should be used before half an hour in KCS and any eye infection except in glaucoma.

Overdoses / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

If irritation persists or increases discontinue the use of eye drop and consult the veterinarian.
Do not touch the dropper for nozzle tips with hands or to any surface because it may contaminate the solution.
Use the solution within 30 days after opening the vial.
In case of cloudiness or if colour turns dark brown, discard the solution.

Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions: 

Store at room temperature. Protect from light and moisture. Keep the medicine out of reach of children. Keep the container tightly closed.  For topical ophthalmic use only.
Shake well before use. Not for human use. For veterinary use only.

Not to be sold by retail without prescription of a registered veterinary practitioner.

Safety: Age / Pregnancy/ Withdrawal:

No age specific restrictions. No warnings are available regarding use in pregnant/ breeding/ lactating animals.
