Enrofloxacin IP 50 mg / 150 mg

Description / Action:

Endro Pet tablet contains enrofloxacin which is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic. It is bactericidal which is effective against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It is effective in the treatment of skin infections, wound infections, urinary, and respiratory tract infections caused by susceptible bacteria.

Indications / Uses:

Endro Pet Tablet is indicated in:
• Skin Infections
• Wound infections
• Urinary tract infections
• Reproductive tract infections
• Respiratory tract infections
• Ear Infections

Dosage and administration:

Dogs and cats: The dose rate of enrofloxacin is 5 mg/kg body weight given orally once daily

The average length of the treatment is 3-5 days

Overdoses / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

Endro pet tablets or enrofloxacin tablets are not recommended for use in dogs less than 1 year of age. Also not for use in large breeds of dogs with a longer growth period under 18 months of age, as articular cartilage may be affected during the period of rapid growth.

Enrofloxacin is not recommended for use in kittens/cats less than 8 weeks of age.

Safety: age / Pregnancy:

Do not use in dogs less than 1 year of age and cats less than 8 weeks of age. Safety in pregnant and lactating female dogs/ cats has not been stated by the manufacturer.
