Meriquin tablets contain enrofloxacin. Enrofloxacin is a second-generation quinolone having a broad spectrum activity against diseases caused by Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria along with Mycoplasmal and Chlamydial infections.

Indication / Usage:

Meriqin tablets are indicated in dogs for
• Skin and soft tissue infections
• Respiratory Tract infections
• Reproductive Tract infections
• GI Tract infections

Dosage/ Administration:

By oral route only

For Dog & Cat:
5 mg/kg BW once a day for 5 days.

treatment can be extended up to 7-10 days In case of severe infections.

Overdosage / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

Not indicated for use in young dogs & cats of less than 1 year of age. Irreversible retinal damage in cats has been reported with overdosage of enrofloxacin.

Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions: 

Normal storage precautions can be followed.

Safety: Age / Pregnancy/ Withdrawal:

Not for use in cats less than 8 weeks of age, dogs not less than 1 year of age (large breed dogs not before 18 months of age).
