Softas Plus shampoo contains:

Permethrin     2% w/w
Aloe vera       0.5% w/w

Description / Action: 

Softas Plus shampoo is recommended for the management of ectoparasite infestation in dogs.  It contains 2% permethrin which has multifold action and effectiveness against stubborn ectoparasites like ticks fleas and lice. Aloe vera is helpful in maintaining skin condition.

Softas Plus shampoo are medicated shampoo is indicated for stubborn ectoparasitic infestation like
• Ticks
• Fleas
• Lice

Dosage and administration:

Apply softas plus dog shampoo liberally to work up rich lather. Allow lather to remain in the coat for 5 to 10 minutes and rinse thoroughly with clean water. Softas plus shampoo can be used in all dogs, except nursing bitches and pups under 3 months of age.

Overdoses / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

Overdosing with topical preparation like shampoo is unlikely to happen. Avoid applying area near eyes. Prevent your pet from licking until it gets dry. In case of toxicity signs like excessive salivation due to permethrin immediately contact your veterinarian.  Not recommended for cats.

Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions: 

Store in a cool and dry place at room temperature (25°C). Protect from direct sunlight.

Safety: Age / Pregnancy/ Withdrawal:

Safety in pregnant female dogs is not warned by the manufacturer. Softas plus shampoo is not recommended for use in nursing bitches and pups under 3 months of age.
