Each tablet contains

Meloxicam BP   2.5 mg

(Scored, melt in mouth, flavoured tablets)

Description / Action: 

Melobest pet tablets contains Meloxicam 2.5 mg. It is a NSAID of oxicam group which helps in pain relief and inflammation in a safe and pet friendly way.

Relieves pain and inflammation associated with:

• Osteoarthritis & other musculo-skeletal disorders
• Pre & post surgery
• Dental procedures
• Otitis
• Follow up of Meloxicam injection

Dosage & administration:

Initial Dose – 0.2 mg/kg body weight on first day 1

Maintenance dose – 0.1 mg/kg body wweight from second day

Once a day oral administration

Store in a cool place. Not for human use.

Safety / Contraindications / Side-Effects:

Common side effects are GI signs like vomiting, diarrhoea, faecal occult blood, loss of appetite etc. In case of adverse reaction or side effect stop the administration and contact your veterinarian immediately.
