Pantothenic acid is a precursor of coenzyme A which plays an essential role in skin lipid synthesis. Pantothenic acid is also required for the production of collagen.
Histidine, an essential amino acid for dogs is required for the biosynthesis of certain proteins found in the epidermis.
Niacinamide increases ceramide biosynthesis
Choline along with Inositol together play role in skin barrier synthesis.
Zinc and Omega fatty acids improve coat condition
Aloe vera, Curcumin, Vitamin C, and Taurine have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity. They increase fibroblast migration which is important for skin repair and also responsible for keratinocyte barrier function.
