Opthoprost Eye Drops contain bimatoprost a prostaglandin analogue. It increases trabecular outflow and uveoscleral outflow in dogs and cats suffering from glaucoma. It reduces excessive intraocular pressure in pet’s eyes.

Indication / Uses:
Opthoprost Eye Drops are indicated for use in
• Glaucoma
• Hypotrichosis
Dosage and administration:
CATS: 1-2 drops in the affected eye (s) twice daily for 7days
DOGS: 2-4 drops in the affected eye (s) twice daily for 7days.
Or as directed by the veterinarian.
Overdoses / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:
It may cause hyper pigmentation of iris in some cases. It also may result into increased photosensitivity of eyes and increase the length of the hairs or eye lashes.
If irritation persists or increases discontinue the use of eye drop and consult the veterinarian.
Do not touch the dropper for nozzle tips with hands or to any surface because it may contaminate the solution.
Use the solution within 30 days after opening the vial.
In case of cloudiness or if colour turns dark brown, discard the solution.
Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions:
Store at room temperature. Protect from light and moisture. Keep the medicine out of reach of children. Keep the container tightly closed. Note: Bottle filled to half capacity for proper drop control.
For veterinary use only. Not for human use.
Safety: Age / Pregnancy/ Withdrawal:
Do not use in pregnant/ breeding/ lactating animals before outweighing the risk as it is a prostaglandin analogue.
