Each ml contains

Moxifloxacin IP          0.5% w/v
Prednisolone IP           1% v/v
Sterile aqueous vehicle        q.s.

Description / Action: 

Opthocare PD Eye Drops contain moxifloxacin and prednisolone that helps in the management and treatment of eye infections, eye inflammation (conjunctivitis) and eye irritation in dogs and cats.

It provides a dual advantage in eye infections with maximum efficacy with topical steroids.

Indication / Uses:

Opthocare PD eye drops are indicated in the

• Chronic Infection & Inflammation
• Mixed Infection
• Eye with Bacterial Infection
• Bacterial Conjunctivitis
• Eye irritation and discomfort
• Uncontrolled Eye Infection with Monotherapy
• Prevention from Post Operative Inflammation & Infection

Dosage and administration:

1 drop in the affected eye(s) 3 times daily for 7 days for bacterial conjunctivitis in adult dogs and cats.

Or as directed by the veterinarian.

Overdoses / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

If irritation persists or increases discontinue the use of eye drop and consult the veterinarian.
Do not touch the dropper for nozzle tips with hands or to any surface because it may contaminate the solution.
Use the solution within 30 days after opening the vial.
In case of cloudiness or if colour turns dark brown, discard the solution.

Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions: 

Store at room temperature. Protect from light and moisture. Keep the medicine out of reach of children. Keep the container tightly closed.
Not for human use. For veterinary use / Animal Treatment only.
Note: Bottle filled to half capacity for proper drop control.

Safety: Age / Pregnancy/ Withdrawal:

It should not be prescribed for pets below one year. It contains prednisolone so outweigh the risk before use in pregnant female dogs and cats.
