Each ml of Opthocare – M eye drop contains
Moxifloxacin HCl IP (Equivalent to moxifloxacin) 0.5 % W/V
Sterile aqueous vehicle q.s.
Description / Action:
Opthocare – M eye drops contains moxifloxacin. It is a unique topical Anti-infective Eye Drops for dogs and cats.

Indication / Uses:
Opthocare – M eye drop is indicated in
• Pink eye / Red eye
• Corneal ulceration
• Eye with bacterial infections
• Bacterial conjunctivitis
Dosage and administration:
Tilt the head of the pet back, gauge upward and pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch. Place the dropper directly over the eye and instil the prescribed number of drops. Gently close the pet’s eye for 1 to 2 minutes. Place your finger at the corner of the dogs eyes and apply gentle pressure.

Overdoses / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:
An overdose of topical application or eye drops is unlike to occur and if this happens seek for veterinarian’s advice.
Common side effects are eye irritation, eye pain, uncommon side effects 1 in thousand dry eyes, eye itching and red eye. Opthocare M eye drops are meant for ophthalmic purpose only. No reported adverse reactions have been stated by the manufacturer. In the case of adverse reaction, discontinue the treatment and consult the veterinarian.
Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions:
Store in a cool and dry place temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protect from heat, moisture and direct sunlight. Do not touch the nozzle of eye drop bottle with hands to avoid contamination. Do not keep for a long time once opened. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
Strictly for veterinary use / animal treatment.
Safety: Age / Pregnancy/ Withdrawal:
Safety for the use in breeding/ pregnant animals have not been mentioned by the manufacturer. Should not be used in pets below one year of age. Do not use if you see change in the colour of eye drops or any precipitation.
