Ingredients & Composition:

Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride IP
equivalent to Moxifloxacin           0.5% w/v
Benzalkonium Chloride Solution IP      0.02% v/v
(as preservative)
Sterile Aqueous base           q.s.

Description / Action: 

Opthovete-M Eye Drop contains antibiotics moxifloxacin. It helps in the management of common eye infections in dogs and cats.

Class: Eye drops / Antibiotics

Indication / Uses:

Indicated in the case of

• Susceptible infections of the conjunctiva
• Red-eye / Pinkeye
• Excessive tearing due to infection

Dosage and administration:

1-2 drops in the affected eye(s) every 4-6 hours

or as directed by the Registered Veterinary Practitioner

Suitable for both dogs and cats.

Directions for use:

Tighten the Cap on the nozzle by turning it clock wise or displayed on the mono-carton. The vial’s tip will be pierced by the spike in the cap.

Once the cap has been removed, the vial is ready for use.

Over-dosage / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

Use the solution within one month after opening the container.

If irritation persists or increases, discontinue the use and consult the Veterinarian.

Do not touch the dropper tip to any other surface since this may contaminate the solution. Please do not use if the solution is cloudy or contains suspended particles and return it for a replacement.

To be used under veterinary supervision only.

Can be used in pregnant and lactating animals. Use with caution in pets below one year of age.

Store in a cool, dry & dark place, Protect from direct sunlight. Not for human use. For treatment of animals only. Keep out of reach of children.

Schedule H1 Prescription Drug Caution – it is dangerous to take this preparation except in accordance with the medical advice. Not permitted for retail sale without a registered veterinary practitioner’s prescription. For external use only. Not for injection.

Shake well before use. Close the bottle tightly after every use.
