Description / Action: 

Gotbac Powder is a potent bacteriostatic and larvicidal used for different kind of wounds, scratches, dog bites and infections. It helps in wound granulation and tissue regeneration.

Indication / Uses:

All types of open / infected wounds like
• Maggot Wound,
• Scratches and Abrasions,
• Navel infection,
• Post docking lesions,
• Paw injuries,
• Dog bite,
• Post surgical application over incision sites,
• Necrotic/ Sloughing wounds
• For the treatment of myiasis
• Prevention of fly strikes

Dosage and administration/ Directions for Use:

Hairs around the wound should be clipped, and an antiseptic solution should be used to clean it completely. The lesion should then be dusted/ covered with GotBac following that. Repeat once or twice daily until the wound has healed.

This powder can be mixed with paraffin or wax/ oil and infused in to deep tunnelled wounds.

Contraindications/ Side Effects/ Overdose:

Avoid contact with eyes. Contraindicated for use in cats as it contains permethrin.
