Praziquantel USP 50 mg
Pyrantel Embonate IP 144 mg
Febantel IP 150 mg

Description / Action: 

Drontal Plus Tasty Tablets are broad-spectrum dewormer for dogs. It is effective for the treatment of roundworms, whipworms, and tapeworms.

Indication / Uses / Benefits:

For treatment of multiple infections with following roundworms and tapeworms:

Roundworms:
Giant roundworms (adult and late larval stages of development): Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina
Hookworms (adult worms); Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum

Whip worms (adult worms):
Trichuris vulpis

Tapeworms (adult and late larval developmental stages):
Echinococcus granulosus, Echinococcus multilocularis, Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp.

Dosage:

1 tablet per 10 kg (22 lbs) body weight or as prescribed by the veterinarian. For oral use in dogs only. No starvation is required either before or after the treatment. The tablets can be administered directly to the dog or disguised in food.

For the treatment of dogs: 15 mg febantel, 14.4 mg pyrantel embonate and 5 mg praziquantel/kg body weight (corresponds to one tablet per 10 kg body weight. For each additional 5 kg of body weight, an additional half tablet must be administered.

Adverse Reactions / Side Effects/ Contraindications:

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substances or to one of the other ingredients of the veterinary medicinal product. Refer product insert for more.

Safety/ Age / Pregnancy:

Not to be used for female dogs during the first two thirds of pregnancy.

Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions: 

Store below 30°C. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Store at or below 86° F (30° C). Not for human use. For animal treatment only.
