Alprazolam IP             2mg
In a chicken flavoured base q.s.

Description / Action: 

CF-Flavazolam is an alprazolam palatable oral solution for dogs and cats. It works on GABA receptors and increases the activity which results in anxiolysis.

Class: Anxiolytics / Sedatives (Benzodiazepenes)

Indication / Uses:

• Anxiety or Panic,
• Aggression,
• Phobias,
• Separation Anxiety
• Hyperactivity
• Mild Sedation for Minor Clinical Procedures
• Sleep Disorders,
• Seizures (as an Adjuvant Drug)
• Behavioural Disorders in Dogs & Cats
• Inappropriate Elimination in Cats

Dosage and administration / Directions for use:

Dogs: 0.01 to 0.1 mg/kg body weight orally, 8 hourly

Cats: 0.125 to 0.25 mg Per Cat orally, 8 to 12 hourly

or as directed by veterinarian

CF-FLAVAZOLAM takes minimum 30 to 45 minutes to begin sedation.

Suitable for both dogs and cats.

Over-dosage / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

Sedation / drowsiness or mild transient incoordination can occur as a common adverse effect in dogs and cats.

Do not use pet having history of hypersensitivity to benzodiazepenes, glaucoma and liver/kidney issues.

Safety / Pregnancy / Age:

Not recommended in pregnant and lactating animals.

Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions: 

Store at temperature not exceeding 25°C. Protect from light and moisture. Not for human use. For treatment of animals only. Keep out of reach of children.

Shake well before use. Close the bottle tightly after every use.
