Active ingredient: Deltamethrin IP (12.5 mg/ml)

Description / Action

Highly effective ectoparasiticide with long-acting effect. Contains pure-isomer Deltamethrin, active against ticks, mites, lice, and flies. Effective against organophosphorous-resistant strains. Safe for animals and users, stable under normal conditions.

Indication / Uses:

Prevention and control of ectoparasites (ticks, lice, mites, flies) in:

Cattle, buffaloes, sheep, goats, camels, horses, dogs, pigs.

Dosage and administration

Frequency:

Mites: 2 treatments (8-day interval).
Ticks: 2 initial treatments (15-day interval), then as needed.
Lice/Flies: As required.

Administration:

Spray: Dilute in water (3–5 L/adult animal); ensure full coverage.

Dip: Charge dip with solution, stir 10 mins; top up when volume drops below 10%.

Contraindications: Do not use on sick animals or those with severe skin injuries. Don’t use in cats.
Warnings:
Avoid treatment during warm hours.
Keep away from food, pets, and waterways.
If swallowed: Do not induce vomiting; seek medical help for gastric lavage.
Precautions: Wear gloves; wash hands after use. Do not eat/drink/smoke during application.

Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions

Protect from light. Stir dip thoroughly before use. Ensure first 20 animals are redipped.
Environmental: Do not discard unused solution in rivers/ponds.
