Description / Action: 

Assurity Plus Spot On is a broad-spectrum endo-ectoparasiticide. It is effective on heart worm dirofilarial, hookworms, roundworms, whipworms, fleas, ticks and mange.

Moxidectin penetrates through the skin into blood stream and targets endo-parasites. Imidacloprid spreads in the water-resistant lipid layer of the skin surface and target ectoparasites.

Indication / Uses:

In the treatment of

For dogs with or at risk for mixed parasitic infections:
• Heartworm disease prevention from Dirofilaria immitis L3 and L4 larvae.
• Prevention and treatment of flea (Ctenocephalides felis) infestation,
• Treatment of biting lice (Trichodectes canis).
• Treatment for demodicosis (caused by Demodex canis), sarcoptic mange (caused by Sarcoptes scabiei var. canis), and ear mite infestation (Otodectes cynotis)
• Treatment & control of Hookworms, roundworms and whipworms.
• Treatment & control of Sarcoptic mange.
• Treatment of circulating microfilariae (Dirofilaria immitis),
• Treatment of the eye worm Thelazia callipaeda (adults).

Dosage and administration / Directions for use:

The recommended minimum dose is 10 mg/kg Imidacloprid and 2.5 mg/kg Moxidectin, once a month, by topical administration

Administer in accordance with the following table:

Assurity Plus Spot On is a spot-on liquid preparation and very easy to administer. Before administering, ensure that your pet is dry. The dog should be standing for easy application. Care should be taken to avoid excessive wetting of hair during treatment of dogs. Do not allow treated dogs to lick each other or rub against other animals until the application site is dry. Read the package insert before use.

Over-dosage / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

Do not allow the dog or any other treated animals to lick any of the application sites for 30 minutes. Carefully read the accompanying instructions before use.

Do not use on puppies below 7 weeks of age, Cats & Cannaries.

Safety / Pregnancy / Age:

Wear gloves during application. Wash the hands thoroughly after use. Do not use in puppies less than 7 weeks of age.

Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions: 

Store below 30°C in a dry place. Shake well before use. Keep out of reach of children & pets, away from food.
