Ultimat spray contains fipronil 0.25 % w/v. It is helpful in the treatment and prevention of fleas and ticks infestation in cats and dogs. And as a part of treatment strategy for flea allergy dermatitis in cats and dogs. The product is active against Ixodes spp. including Ixodes ricinus, important as a vector of Lyme disease. Fipronil controls infestations with Trichodectes canis, biting lice on dogs and Felicola subrostratus, biting lice on cats.

Indication / Uses:
Ultimat (Fipronil) Spray is indicated for the treatment and control of
• Ticks (Lyme disease)
• Biting Lice
• Fleas (Flea Allergy Dermatitis or FAD)
Directions for use:
In order to dampen the coat down the coat down the skin. Apply 3 to 6 ml per kg body weight (75 to 15 mg of active ingredient per kg of the body weight), depending on the length of the hairs. The dosage can be achieved with 12 pump application per kg of the body weight.
Allow to dry naturally.

Overdoses / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:
Do not use in sick (systemic diseases and conditions like fever etc.) or convalescent animals. Do not use fipronil in rabbits. In rabbits adverse reactions and even death may occur.
Safe for use in cats.
Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions:
Store in a cool place in dark. Strictly for topical or external application. Not for human use.
Safety: Age / Pregnancy/ Withdrawal:
Can be used in young dogs and cats from day 2 onwards. Safe for use in pregnant female dogs and has no withdrawal side effects.
Habit forming: No. May need to be repeated for effective control of ecto-parasites.
