Ivermectin           10 mg
(Scored, melt-in-mouth, flavoured tablets for easy and convenient dosing)

Description / Action: 

Rapimec tablet contains ivermectin 10% . It is for the safe & effective treatment of Canine Generalised Demodicosis. It acts on GABA and glutamate-gated channels and causes flaccid paralysis of parasites.

Dosage and administration:

0.3-0.6 mg/kg bw/day

Mild Canine Generalized Demodicosis (CGD) treatment for 7-14 days

Chronic generalized demodecosis is treated until two negative skin scrapings are evident, one month apart.

Recommended along with topical amitraz for better results

Store in a cool place. Not for human use.

Safety / Contraindications / Side-Effects:

Not recommended for use in the Collie breed. Overdosing may cause neurotoxicity. Safe for use in dogs and cats both.
