Key ingredients include-

Pasanabheda (Saxifraga ligulata) – also known as stone breaker (kidney stones). Its rhizome contains the bergenin. It supports the body’s natural ability to maintain normal colloid and crystalloid balance which is an important factor for maintaining normal urine flow.
Shilapushpa (Didymocarpus pedicellata) – leaf contains an essential oil which has didymocarpene, that supports the urinary tract health.
Shilajit (Shudda) or Mineral Pitch: it is a thick blackish sticky substance containing 85 minerals in ionic form. It is used for anti-ageing, a brain enhancer and recuperative adaptogen.
Hajarul Yahood or Badarashma bhasma: It works on kidney stones, painful urination and renal colic. It also helps to prevent urinary retention.
Stone Flower (Parmelia perlata thallus): Anti-fungal, anti-biotic, expectorant and astringent. Tones the urinary tract and supresses calcui formation.
Manjistha or Umbrellas Edge (Rubia cordifolia): For the treatment of kidney and liver diseases, gall stones and has diuretic properties.
Nagarmusta (Cyperus scariousus): Anti-inflammatory, central nervous system stimulant and antimicrobial as well as diuretic.
Apamarga (Achyranthes aspera): A water soluble alkaloid reported lower blood pressure and decrease heart rate, maintains heart health and used for the treatment of kidney stones.
Gojihva (Onosma bracteatum): A herb known to alleviate kidney disease.
Sahadevi (Veronia cinerea): Used to treat cases of kidney disease and burning micturition.

Description / Action: 

Nefrotec DS vet tablets are a combination of herbs with urinary antiseptic, antilithic and diuretic properties. It helps in breaking down the uroliths (bladder stones) by clinging on to the mucin bondage and prevents the recurrence of urinary tract infections because of its antiseptic properties.

Nefrotec is effective in flushing out toxins, removing excess fluid from the body, preventing and dissolving sediment/stones in the bladder and kidneys, preventing recurrence of bladder stones and.

Dosage & administration / Directions for use:

Dogs:

Small breeds: 1 Tablet twice daily

Large breeds: 2 Tablets twice daily

Cats: 1 Tablet daily

Duration: 1 to 3 months period

Can be given orally or mixed with the food. The dosage can be divided between AM and PM and can be altered as directed by the veterinarian.

Safety / Contraindications / Side-Effects:

There are no reported side effects and no known contraindications. Treatment with Nefrotec alone requires 3-4 weeks for recovery.  Common signs of urinary tract problems may include more frequent or painful urination, blood or pus in the urine, or blockage of urination.
