Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide IP    10 mg
Chlorpheniramine Maleate IP                2 mg
Phenylephrine Hydrochloride IP           5 mg
In a flavoured syrup base                       q.s.
Colour: Carmoisine Supra

Description:

Kuff-Heal Syrup contains Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, Chlorpheniramine Maleate and Phenylephrine Hydrochloride. It is a sugar free syrup for treatment and management of coughing in dogs and cats.

Class: Cough Syrup (Anti-tussive, Antihistamine)   

Indication / Uses:

Kuff-heal Syrup is used to control dry nonproductive cough associated allergic, infectious and parasitic diseases of respiratory system.

Doses and administration:

Upto 5 ml per 20 kg bodyweight twice or thrice daily or as recommended by the veterinarian.

Dose of Dextromethorphan is 0.5-2 mg/kg q6-8h PO for dogs and cats
Dose of pheniramine maleate is 4–8 mg/dog p.o. q8h and 2-4 mg/cat p.o. q8h

Overdoses / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

Overdosing may result into side effects like mild sedation and reduced seizure threshold. Use with caution in cardiac patients and hypertensive pets.

Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions: 

Store in a cool, dark & dry place below 25°C. Keep away from sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Shake well before use. Keep bottle well closed.
