Contents and composition:

Furinaid Plus Syrup contains
N-Acetyl Glucosamine 6.25% w/v, Roast meat favouring
(derived from Saccharomyces Cerevisiae),
L-Tryptophan 8000mg/Ltr.

Crude Protein 3.9%, Crude & Fat <0.3%, Crude Fibre <0.1%, Crude Ash
0.45%, Moisture 91.8%, Sodium 0.087%.

Description / MOA:

Furinaid Plus Syrup is a complementary feeding stuff for dogs & cats for the management of idiopathic cystitis in dogs and cats. Furinaid plus is a palatable and convenient liquid form. This liquid contains N-Acetyl Glucosamine and L- Tryptophan. Daily feeding will nutritionally support the Glycosaminoglycan levels in the mucosal barrier of the bladder wall and assist in the maintenance of normal function.

• Nutritional support for Dogs & Cats
• Management and treatment of Idiopathic Cystitis

Clinical signs of Idiopathic Cystitis

• Signs of difficulty and pain when urinating (dysuria)
• Increased frequency of urination (pollakiuria)
• Blood in the urine (hematuria)
• Behavioral change
• Complete obstruction to urine outflow
• Aggression
• Urination outside litter box and urgency to urinate in cat
• Loss of litter box training in case of cat

What type of dogs & cats suffer from Idiopathic Cystitis

• Can affect dogs & cats of any age but mostly affects young to middle aged dogs & cats
• Over weight dogs & cats
• Neutered dogs & cats are more susceptible
• Persian and Black & White domestic cats are predisposed
• Occurs equally in male and female dogs & cats
• Stress- moving house or traveling, weather changes or when household routine is disrupted

Administration / Dosage:

Mix FURINAID PLUS well into the feed. Feed each dog / cat individually.

Feeding Instructions first 14 days:

Cats & Small dogs (up to 10kg : 6ml per day
Medium dogs (10 to 25kg) : 8ml per day
Large Dogs (25 to 40kg) : 10ml per day
Very Large Dogs (over 40kg): 12mI per day

Feeding Instructions thereafter for maintenance:

Cats & Small dogs (up to 10kg): 4ml per day
Medium dogs (10 to 25kg):6ml per day
Large Dogs (25 to 40kg):8ml per day
Very Large Dogs (over 40kg): 10ml per day.
1 pump Stroke is equal to 2 ml
