Description / Action: 

Cranbact capsules provide a multitude of biomedical benefits based on antioxidant properties and other biochemical constituents. The unique proanthocyanidins in cranberry impart a unique anti-adherence effect on bacteria leading to flushing out of bacteria.

Cranberry’s proanthocyanidins and mannose sugar have an anti-adhesion effect on the pathogens to mucosal surfaces such as the bladder, gastric and intestinal mucosa for about 10 hours. Proanthocyanidins also change the morphology of E. coli from rod to sphere shape which leads to loss of pathogenesis.

Dosage and administration:

Cranbact capsules can be given

Small – Medium size dogs and cats @ 1 capsule twice a day

Large size dogs @1 -2 capsules twice daily

Route: Oral administration only, Can be mixed / given with the food

Duration: Dogs and cats suffering from recurrent urinary tract infections may need longer therapy until satisfactory results.
