Azimycine Tablets and Syrup contain Azithromycin a broad-spectrum antibiotic used for a variety of bacterial, and parasitic infections. It is often combined with other drugs to treat specific infections, such as Atovaquone to treat babesiosis in dogs.
Derived from Erythromycin, azithromycin is a macrolide antibiotic that is semi-synthetic. In veterinary medicine, it is used to treat specific bacterial infections. Because azithromycin has a longer half-life than erythromycin, it is a more common choice in the treatment of dogs and cats.

Dosage and administration:
Dogs: 5-10 milligrams per kilogram of body weight by mouth every 24 hours.
Cats: 5-10 milligrams per kilogram by mouth every 24 hours.
Birds: 10-40 mg/kg by mouth or in water every 24-48 hours.
Duration of treatment: 3 to 5 days
Overdoses / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:
The most-common side effects in all species are Gastrointestinal, Vomiting, Mild to moderate diarrhea.
