Bacillus clausii Spores IHS — 2 x 10⁹ spores
Purified water IP — q.s.

Description / Action:
Ventrogermina Suspension contains Bacillus clausii spores that is a veterinary probiotic used to restore intestinal flora, treat diarrhea, and support gut health in dogs and cats.

When administered orally, the elevated resistance of Bacillus clausii spores to both chemical and physical agents allows them to cross the barrier of gastric juice and to be unharmed into the intestinal tract, where they are transformed into metabolically active vegetative cells. These exert a broad spectrum action against pathogenic microorganisms which are useful for the treatment of intestinal bacterial flora disorders. Besides, these also modulate immune activity by increasing production of secretory immunoglobulin A. Resistance of the spores to multiantibiotic renders its use as a concomitant treatment of other pathogens. Normal gut flora of intestine acts as a barrier against other pathogens.

VENTROGERMINA restores the balance of intestinal flora that is upset during treatment with antibiotics or chemotherapeutic products and thereby helps to correct consequent dysvitaminosis conditions.

VENTROGERMINA is used to cure and prevent intestinal bacterial flora disorders like diarrhoea.

Dosage and administration:
Dogs:
Below 10 kg – 1 mini bottle a day
10–25 kg – 2 mini bottles a day
Above 25 kg – 3 mini bottles a day

Cats:
1 mini bottle a day

Or as directed by the Veterinarian

Instructions for use:
Shake before use. To open the Mini Bottle unscrew and remove the top of the cap. If corpuses of oily particles are seen in the mini bottle in doses not mean that the product is deteriorated. These particles are simply clumps of B. clausii spores.

Storage:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, in a dry place. DO NOT FREEZE.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Shake the mini bottle before use.

Safety: Age / Pregnancy / Withdrawal:
The administration in pregnancy and lactation should be avoided. If treatment is nevertheless thought to be necessary, the benefits and risks should be carefully assessed.
