Each vial contains:
A. Ceftriaxone Sodium I.P. eq. to Ceftriaxone 0.5 g
B. An ampoule containing sterile WFI (water for injection) I.P. 10 ml

Description / Action: 

Wocef 0.5 contains Ceftriaxone a third generation cephalosporin. It is an injectable broad spectrum antibiotic for dogs and cats to treat bacterial infections.

Indication / Usage:

Wocef 0.5 g (ceftriaxone) injection is indicated for

• Respiratory tract infections
• Soft tissue infections
• Post surgical follow up
• Secondary bacterial infections

Dosage/ Administration:

By IM / IV route only

Dog /Cat: 10 – 15 mg / kg Body Weight

To be used by  a registered veterinary practitioner only.

Overdosage / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

Do not use in cats or dogs having a known history of hypersensitivity. May show adverse reaction in sensitive pets.

Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions: 

Normal storage precautions can be followed. Protect from light. Use the reconstituted solution immediately.

Safety: Age / Pregnancy/ Withdrawal:

Safe for use in pregnant and lactating / breeding dogs and cats.

Withdrawal period for milk is 7 days and for meat it is 28 days in food animals.
