Each uncoated Zedox tablet contains

Doxycycline hyclate IP equivalent to
Doxycyline         100/200/300 mg
Excipients           q.s.

Description / Action: 

Zedox tablets contain doxycycline hyclate. It is indicated in dogs and cats to Treat Bacterial Infections. Doxycycline is a broad spectrum antibiotic of tetracycline class which is used for treating bacterial infections. It is effective against Gram Positive & Gram Negative Bacteria.

Indication / Uses:

Zedox tablets are indicated / Recommended in dogs and cats for treatment of

• Erlichiosis
• Leptospirosis
• Psittacosis
• Tickborne Diseases
• Mycoplasma
• Toxoplasmosis
• Lyme disease
• Anaplasmosis
• Rocky mountain spotted fever
• Infections involving the genitals & urinary tract infections (UTI)

Dosage:

For dogs and cats

10 mg per kg body weight or

5 to 6 mg/kg twice a day for 6 weeks or as directed by the veterinarian.

Overdoses / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

Do not overdose. Always follow the recommended dosage. Tablets can cause oesophagitis in cats.

Protect from heat and direct sunlight.  Keep out of reach of children.

Safety: Age / Pregnancy/ Withdrawal:

Avoid using in young puppies and kittens. Not recommended in pregnant and lactating animals.
