N-Acetylcysteine USP         150 mg
Taurine USP                        500 mg

Description / Action: 

Taurians tablets contain Taurine and N-acetylcysteine which a supplement for heart, kidney and liver issues. It helps in reducing oxidative stress which is one of the major reasons for many diseases like cancer and other issues. Protects against damage from oxidative stress in patients with chronic kidney disease and those receiving chemotherapy for cancer.

Taurine

Taurine is an amino acid that both dogs and cats require for health. For cats, taurine is necessary for brain, nerves, eyes, heart, digestion, immune function and foetal development. For dogs, taurine is needed for eyes, reproduction, bile acid (for fat digestion) and for healthy heart.
• Aids in renal blood flow regulation
• Supports normal heart function, especially when pets age
• Essential amino acid for cats that is critical for their normal vision, digestion, heart muscle function, pregnancy, foetal development
• Helps to eliminate free radicals in glomerulus, prevents deterioration of micro-albuminuria

N-acetyl cysteine

Acetylcysteine is useful in treating conditions that involve tissue damage or toxicity due to oxidative stress, such as acetaminophen, xylitol, or phenol toxicity, degenerative myelopathy in dogs, chronic kidney disease, respiratory inflammation in cats, and FIV in cats.

• Helps replenish glutathione levels in the body
• Reduces inflammation in bronchial tubes and lung tissues; has mucolytic, anti-inflammatory effect

Taurians tablets are indicated in dogs and cats for
• Chronic kidney disease
• Heart diseases such as CHF
• Deficiency of Taurine
• Additional treatment in Parvoviral diarrhoea
• In patients receiving chemotherapy for cancer
• Reduces risk of cardiovascular disease
• Promotes healthy liver
• Prevents or reduces glomerular damage due to diabetes
• Promotes clean & healthy lungs

Dosage and administration:

Dogs: 1 tablet twice daily

Cats: ½ tablet twice daily
