Description / Action: 

Pooch Liv-Guard tablets contain ursodeoxycholic acid which a secondary bile acid that is used to restore healthy liver function. It supports liver function and regeneration in cases of liver diseases. It helps in dissolving gallstones created by toxic cholesterol level & ultimately reduce the amount of cholesterol made by the liver & toxic bile levels. It ensures healthier liver and cheerful pets.

Indication / Usage:

It is indicated in dogs and cats in the following conditions of

Liver:
• Help in the repair of the Hepatocytes (Liver Cells)
• Cirrhosis
• Juvenile Fibrosing liver disease
• Chronic hepatitis

Gall bladder:
• A buildup of toxic acid
• Gallstones
• Primary sclerosing cholangitis 

Dosage/ Administration / Feeding Directions:

In Dogs: 5 to 15 mg/kg body weight twice daily orally.

In Cats: 10 to 15 mg/kg body weight once daily orally.

Medication should only be administered after accessing the condition and consulting your veterinarian. The total dosage can be divided.

Overdosage / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

Ursodeoxycholic acid should not be used in case of cholestasis or obstruction of the biliary duct. Safety has not been demonstrated in dogs and cast but side effects are rare.

Store at room temperature (15°-25°C or 59°-77°F). Protect from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep reaching out of the children. Not for human use.  Refer to the product label or package insert for additional information.
