Pjjes spray contains hydrocortisone acetate which is a stabilized form of glucocorticoid. It is cortisol ester with potent anti-inflammatory property, known to relieve pruritus associated with minor skin irritations, inflammation and rashes in dogs and cats.

Description / Action: 

Pjjes spray contains hydrocortisone acetate which is a stabilized form of glucocorticoid. It is cortisol ester with potent anti-inflammatory property, known to relieve pruritus associated with minor skin irritations, inflammation and rashes in dogs and cats. It is rapidly absorbed into the skin due to high lipid solubility and becomes bio-available to skin cells.

  • Pyotraumatic dermatitis
  • Canine atopy / Atopic dermatitis
  • Itching / Pruritus
  • Flea allergic dermatitis
  • Hot spot
  • Eczema
  • Auto immune skin disorders
  • Pruritus in infectious dermatitis
  • Other inflammatory skin conditions

 Dosage and administration:

The recommended dose is 1.52 µg of hydrocortisone acetate per cm² of skin surface.

This is achieved with 2 pump spray over a 10 x 10 cm square surface area of skin.

Remove the screw cap.

Hold the bottle upright or at a 45° angle. Spray from a distance of 10 cm above the affected skin surface.

Allow area to dry. Avoid spraying in the eyes and other mucus membranes.

Ideally bathe the dog with shampoo, dry pet skin and then apply Pjjes.

Route: Topical / External – Directly on dog skin lesions

Duration: Do not use Pjjes for more than three times a day. Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days.

Over-dosage / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

Topical spray area should not exceed 1/3 body surface of pet. Hydrocortisone spray is not recommended in sick & debilitated pets, Pets with Cushing’s disease. Use is not advisable in pets below 12 week of age. It accumulates and get metabolised locally hence no systemic side effects.

Store below 25°C in a dry place or at room temperature. Not for use in humans. Strictly for veterinary use. Keep reach out of the children.
