Description / Action:

OCLADERM Tablets contain oclacitinib maleate. It is a selective JAK1 inhibitor for rapid relief of allergic dermatitis, atopic dermatitis and pruritus with long-term itch control in dogs.

Selective JAK1 inhibitor targeting IL-31 — rapidly disrupts the itch-scratch cycle in atopic and allergic dogs with minimal drug interaction profile.

Indication / Uses

• Allergic Dermatitis: Pruritus caused by environmental allergens; pollen, dust mites, mould.
• Atopic Dermatitis (Canine AD): Chronic inflammatory and pruritic skin disease associated with IgE sensitisation.
• Acute Allergic Reactions: Flea allergy dermatitis, food allergy, other hypersensitivities.
• Secondary Skin Complications: Prevention of pyoderma, alopecia and skin thickening from chronic scratching.

Rare papillomas or demodicosis with prolonged use

Contraindications

Dogs less than 12 months of age.
Dogs with serious systemic infections.
Dogs with evidence of immunosuppression or progressive malignant neoplasia.
Known hypersensitivity to oclacitinib.

Warnings

For dogs only.
Evaluate and treat underlying infections before initiating therapy.
Monitor patients receiving long-term treatment.
Use cautiously in dogs with recurrent infections or neoplastic disease.

Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions

For veterinary use only. Administer orally with or without food.

Store in a cool, dry place protected from moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Safety: Age / Pregnancy / Withdrawal

Age: Recommended for dogs ≥12 months of age.

Pregnancy/Lactation: Safety has not been established in breeding, pregnant or lactating dogs; use only after veterinarian risk-benefit assessment.

Withdrawal period: Not applicable for dogs.
