Description / Action: 

Keratolytic shampoo for dogs and cats is a combination of salicylic acid, zinc gluconate and pyridoxine for treatment and control of keratoseborrhea.

• Unique antiseborrheic and keratolytic tar free shampoo that removes scales, crusts and excessive oil.
• Salicylic acid modulates Cox2 gene expression to decrease the formation of pro-inflammatory prostaglandins
• The antirheumatic (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory) properties of salicylate are due to its analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties.
• Zinc gluconate is used to treat and prevent zinc deficiency. Zinc is required for growth, development, and the health of bodily tissues.
• Pyridoxin shows Anti-bacterial and antioxidant properties when applied topically to the skin
• Pyridoxin used as a skin and hair conditioning agent.

Dosage and administration / Directions for use:

Shake well before use. Wet the hair coat with water and apply a sufficient amount of shampoo to create a rich lather. Leave for 10 min. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat twice weekly until symptoms subside, then weekly, or as directed by your veterinarian.
