Each Ichmune T ointment contains
Tacrolimus               0.1 % w/w
Ointment base           q.s.

Description / Action: 

Ichmune-T ointment contains Tacrolimus which is an immunosuppressant. Tacrolimus inhibits T-lymphocytes.

Class: Immunosuppressant  

Indication / Uses:

Ichmune T or tacrolimus ointment is indicated in dogs for

• Management and treatment of infections associated with Canine Atopic Dermatitis.

• Itching and redness of the skin can be managed with tacrolimus ointment.

Dosage and administration:

Apply a thin layer of ointment on the affected body part twice daily.

Can be applied on the face, neck, and groin areas.

Avoid application on mucous membranes.

Always consult your veterinarian. Dosage and duration of the treatment depend on the condition being treated and response. Do not self-medicate your pet to avoid complications.

Overdoses / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

Overdose has not been reported. Do not allow your pet to lick the affected area after application until it gets dry.

Long term effects, potential side or adverse effects, and toxicities are not known. Tacrolimus must be reserved for special cases only.

Ask your veterinarian if your pet is diabetic before using the tacrolimus ointment.

Store in a cool and dry place at room temperature. Do not freeze.  Wear gloves during application.
