Indication / Uses

  • Primary Canine Hypothyroidism: Lethargy, mental dullness, weight gain, cold intolerance, bradycardia.
  • Skin & Coat Problems: Dry/brittle coat, alopecia (“rat tail”), hyperpigmentation, seborrhoea, chronic ear infections.
  • Neuromuscular Signs: Muscle weakness, facial nerve paralysis, vestibular disease.
  • Reproductive Disturbances: Silent heat, infertility, prolonged inter-oestrus interval.
  • Feline Hypothyroidism (Cats): Use with extreme caution under strict veterinary supervision only.

Contraindications

Untreated adrenal insufficiency (hypoadrenocorticism).
Uncorrected thyrotoxicosis.
