Description:

Cat laxative is combination of natural oils, cereals, and added nutritional contents. It helps in removal and protection from hairballs in cats and kittens.

Indications for use:

Cat laxative is indicated in cats and kittens for

  • Hairball removal
  • Hairball prevention

Administration / Dosage:

Most cats will take the laxative directly from the tube or from your finger, alternatively place the cat laxative on to the front paw or on the nozzle where the cat can lick it off.

To prevent hairball:

Kittens (over 6 months): 3- 6mm (0.12-0.24in) weekly,

Cats: 6- 13mm (0.24-0.5in) weekly

To remove hairball:

Kittens (over 6 months): 13mm (0.5in) daily for 3 days,

Cats: 25mm (1 in) daily for 3 days.

Over-dosage / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

Overdose related and other side effects have not been mentioned by the manufacturer. Phosphate enema should not be used for cats.

Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions: 

Store in a cool and dry place.

Safety: Age / Pregnancy/ Withdrawal:

Do not administer to kittens less than six month old. Hairball can be averted by frequent grooming and by routinely using a cat laxative.

Use in pregnant and lactating females has not been warned by manufacturer. Always follow recommendations of your vet.
