Ingredients:

Phosphatidylserine – It is a phospholipid which helps to maintain normal cell membrane function

Omega 3 fatty acids –eicosapentaenoic and docosahexaenoic acid (EPA and DHA)

L-Carnitine – It is essential for cellular metabolism and healthy mitochondrial function

Co-enzyme Q10 – has potential antioxidant effects and used to aid energy production.

Description:  Aktivait is a synergistic combination of nutrients, antioxidants and mitochondrial co-factors which has been demonstrated to be of benefit in cognitive dysfunction. It is a nutritional supplement to aid a healthy central nervous system and support brain function in older dogs and cats. Aktivait helps to avoid free radical damage and promotes brain signal transmission.  Aktivait is the first supplement to combine all the nutrients necessary that may help to sustain optimum function. It contains a complex mix of antioxidants (Vitamins C, E, CoQ10, alpha-lipoic acid, and N-acetyl cysteine) and compounds necessary for optimum metabolism and function of the nerve cells (Carnitine, DHA/EPA, and Phosphatidylserine).

For the management of cognitive decline in elderly dogs and cats.  Signs are as followed:

• Pacing up and down
• Increased wandering around
• Decreased recognition of familiar pets or places or people
• Restlessness
• Depression

• Restless sleep or waking at night
• Toileting indoors
• Clingy behaviour

Doses: 

 Administration: Capsules can be opened and mixed with food or given whole, once daily. Aktivait comes in a capsule which can be opened and mixed with food, or given whole to your dog or cat. Different sizes are available depending on the size of the dog.
