Description / Action:

DOXABREEZE Injection contains doxapram a rapid respiratory stimulant for anaesthetic recovery, neonatal resuscitation and emergency respiratory depression in dogs, cats and other animal species.

Indication / Uses

Contraindications

• • Epilepsy or seizure disorders.
  • Severe hypertension.
  • Head trauma with increased intracranial pressure.
  • Hypersensitivity to doxapram.

Warnings

• • Correct the underlying cause of respiratory depression whenever possible.
  • Use cautiously in animals with cardiovascular disease.
  • Continuous monitoring of respiration and cardiovascular status is recommended.
  • Avoid overdosing due to risk of CNS overstimulation.
