Each gm contains:
Propoxur            10 mg
Excipients           q.s.

Description / Action: 

Tick guard powder contains propoxur which is effective against ectoparasites like lice, ticks and fleas on dogs and cats. Propoxur is carbamate non-systemic insecticide.   

Class: Ectoparasiticide (anti-tick/ anti-flea powder) – Carbamate non-systemic insecticide

Indication / Uses:

• It helps in controlling ticks, fleas & lice.
• Protects from different skin infestations.
• Soothes skin

Directions for use:

Apply all over the pet body & rub thoroughly down to the skin. Or use a thick comb and brush against the direction of the hairs while dusting. Apply on feet, legs and tail also.

Apply once in a week & in severe infestation apply once in 3 days.

or as directed by the veterinarian.

Route: For topical/ external application in dogs and cats only.

Over-dosage / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

Don’t allow the pet to lick the powder. Don’t inhale the powder dust. Avoid using on cuts or damaged skin. It may be poisonous if swallowed. If swallowed, induce vomiting, if poisoning occurs contact the veterinarian.

Signs of toxicity include nervous system signs, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, wheezing, tearing in the eyes, and sweating.

Safety: Age / Pregnancy/ Withdrawal:

Use in pregnant and lactating female dogs have not been warned by the manufacturer.  Consult with your vet before using in pets less than 4 weeks of age.
